Input cable fuses
The ratings of UL listed fuses for branch circuit protection are listed below. The
fuses also prevent damage to the adjoining equipment of the drive in case of a
short-circuit inside the drive. Make sure that the operating time of the fuse is less
than 0.1 seconds. The operating time depends on the supply network impedance
and the cross-sectional area and length of the supply cable. The fuses must be of the
"non-time delay" type. See
Note 1: In multi-cable installations, install only one fuse per phase (not one fuse per conductor).
Note 2: Larger fuses must not be used.
Note 3: Fuses from other manufacturers can be used if they meet the ratings.
