9.9 SEASONAL STOPPAGES
If the stove will not be used for a long time it is convenient to keep the fuel tank empty, such as the screw-type conveyor to avoid the fuel
compacting. Clean the stove and the smoke duct, removing the ashes and other residues, close the stove door. It is recommended to clean
the chimney at least once a year. Meanwhile, check the seals because if they are not in good condition (they do not adjust to the door), they
do not guarantee the proper operation of the stove!
For this reason, it would be necessary to change them. If there is humidity in the place where the stove is installed, put absorbent salts inside
the equipment. Protect the internal parts with neutral vaseline in order to keep the appearance overtime.
It is possible to disconnect the stove from the electrical network, but remember that if it is going to be disconnected for a long time, when you
connect it again, it will show the time 00:00 will appear blinking, and you will need to introduce again the values of date and time.
9.10 MAINTENANCE REVIEW
It is also advisable to check and clean at least once a year, all existing ash records
on the stove.
Your stove has a preventive maintenance notice, established at 1500 hours of
operation, which will remind you of the OBLIGATORY to clean the registers/records
of your stove as soon as possible. In order to carry out this task, you should contact
your authorized installer.
This message is not an alarm but a reminder or warning. It will therefore allow you
to use your stove while this message is displayed, but you must seek an immediate
cleaning of your stove. (see drawing D9.9).
Please, bear in mind that the stove could need to be cleaned before this hours
established by default or even after them. This depends on the quality of the fuel used, the smoke installation, and the proper regulation of
the stove.
In the following table (also pasted on your stove in the fuel tank cover) you can check the frequency of the maintenance tasks and who must
do it.
CLEANING TASKS
Remove the burner from the chamber (on models where it can be removed) and clean the holes with the use of the
poker provided. Remove the ash with a vacuum-cleaner.
Hoover the ashes which are inside the burner place.
Clean the upper part of the smoke baffle plate
Vacuum the bottom of the pellet tank when necessary.
Clean the internal of the combustion chamber descale in the walls with a correct vacuum cleaner.
Clean the smoke extractor fan, the whole combustion chamber, pellet tank, whole replacement of the seals and
put again silicone where necessary, smoke duct, reservoirs...
Check all the electronic components (electronic board, display...)
Check all the electrical components (resistance, smoke extractor fan, circulator pump).
10. OPERATION OF THE DISPLAY/RECEIVER
10.1. DISPLAY GENERAL INFORMATION
The display shows information about the operation of the stove. In the menu, you can
find different types of options and adjust the configuration depending on the level of
access. Depending on the operation mode, the display may take different meanings
depending on the position.
Drawing D10.2 describes the position of the messages during the programming
phase of the paramaters. In particular:
1. Section "D1" of the screen shows the time, the operation state, error, menu,
submenu, valued introduced.
2. Section "D2" of the screen shows the power.
3. Section "D3" of the screen shows the recipe.
4. Section "D4" of the screen shows the main temperature
and the value introduced.
10.2. FUNCTIONS OF THE BUTTONS OF THE DISPLAY/
