CLEANING THE GLASS
IMPORTANT:Clean the glass only when it is cold in order to avoid possible explosion. You can use specific products. You
can find Bronpi vitro ceramic-cleaning product at the same Bronpi distributor where you bought your stove (see drawing
D9.5).
BREAKAGE OF GLASSES. The glasses, as they are vitro ceramic, resist until 750ºC and they are not subject to thermal
shocks. The breakage can only be caused by mechanical shocks (crashes or violent closing of the door, etc). Therefore,
its replacement is not included in the warranty.
9.6.
EXTERNAL CLEANING
Do not clean the external surface of the stove with water or abrasive products because they may damage the stove. Use a feather duster or
a rag a bit wet.
9.7
CLEANING THE UPPER PART OF THE BAFFLE PLATE
Depending on the stove operating hours, the upper part of the baffle plate needs to be cleaned, as it is a smoke passageway and,
depending on the combustion, ash deposition in this area can be significant. Cleaning should be carried out at least once a month.
To clean the baffle plate, this part must be removed and the ashes must be sucked out with the help of an ash hoover. The baffle plate rests
on the rear and side castings inside the combustion chamber, just lift it up and tilt it inside the combustion chamber so that it can be removed
(see drawing D9.6).
9.8.
CLEANING THE REGISTERS
In order to maintain the validity of the warranty period, it is compulsory that the registers of the stove are cleaned by a
technician authorized by Bronpi Calefacción, who shall leave a record in writing of the intervention made.
It consists of cleaning the ash registers of the stove as well as the smoke passway.
First, it is necessary to clean completely the inside of the combustion
chamber by cleaning the inside plate. Rub dirty surfaces with a steel
brush.
It is also necessary to clean the heat exchanger chamber, as the soot
that accumulates hinders the correct circulation of the fumes.
In all models, access to the heat exchange area and therefore to the
flue gas passageway is possible by removing the rear plate from
inside the combustion chamber.
The rear plate of the combustion chamber must first be removed by
loosening the screws and performing the following operations (see
drawing D9.7.):
-
Clean the ashes deposited, descaling the soot that is in the
area of passage of the fumes.
-
Replace the parts and check the airtightness of the register.
Once the upper part is cleaned, it is necessary to clean the smoke
register in the lower part of the stove. In order to do this, it is necessary to open the door of the stove and/or remove the front camera
completely to access the register and, later, follow the next steps:
-
Extract the register cover by unscrewing the
screws. See drawing D9.8
-
Clean the ashes and the soot placed in the
register.
-
Clean the blades and the case of the extractor.
Extract the extractor if necessary.
-
Replace the pieces and check the hermeticism of
the register.
