INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS ACCORDING TO MODEL
5.6.1
MINERVA SLIM MODEL
To install the Minerva Slim models hanging, you must optionally purchase the hanging support (ref
KIT-C- MINERVA), which is a metal piece that must be screwed to the wall at the desired height and
which will support the weight of the stove (see drawing D5.9).
IMPORTANT!!!: You must ensure that the wall will support the weight of the stove
(plus the weight of the fuel). It is not recommended an installation on walls made of
materials that may not support the weight of the stove or combustible materials.

START UP
WARNING!! If your stove has been disconnected from the electrical network long
time, it is possible that when you connect the stove to the net and make the start
up the display will show the time 00:00 blinking It means the date and hour are not
adjusted and you will must to proceed to their setting. See point 10.4.3
The ignition of this kind of equipments is automatic, so, please do not put on the burner any kind of material to ignition.
Before the ignition, follow the next verifications:
It is forbidden to use liquid substances such as alcohol, gasoline, petroleum or similar products. The use of this substance
leads the loss of warranty.
-
The electrical cable must be connected to the electrical network (230 Vac) with a socket equipped with earthing system.
-
The bipolar switch, placed on the rear side of the stove, must be in position I.
-
The pellet tank must be supplied.
-
The combustion chamber must be clean.
-
The burner must be clean and properly placed.
-
The combustion chamber door must be closed correctly. We also recommend that the oven door is closed so that it can reach
temperature more easily.
-
If you do not want to use the oven, it is necessary to remove the tray and grill from the oven, in order to avoid its deterioration.
During the first ignition could happen that the stove has finished the ignition cycle and there is no flame. In this case the stove automatically
starts an alarm state. This happens because the fuel feeder is empty and needs a moment to fill in. To solve this problem start again the stove
(taking into account the previous considerations ) until the flame appears.
The stove, at the beginning, must be subject to different start-up cycles so that all materials and the paint can complete different elastic
expansions.
At the beginning, it is possible that you note smoke or smell which are typically produced when metals are subject to high temperatures or
when the paint is still fresh. This paint is boiled at 80º C for a few minutes when construction, but it must exceed for a time the temperature of
200 ºC before the adhesion to the metallic surfaces.
Therefore, it is important to adopt these measures during the ignition phase:
1.
Assure that there is a good air refill in the place where the equipment is installed.
2.
During the firsts ignitions, keep a low power work and the oven lit during at least 6-10 hours continuously.
3.
Repeat this operation at least 4-5 times or more, depending on the needs.
4.
During the first ignitions, you should not place any object on the equipment and, in particular, on lacquered surfaces. Lacquered
surfaces should not be touched while the equipment is heated.
7.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
All models of stoves incorporate a convection turbine as standard for the heating of the environment.
Depending on the "type of work" chosen, the user has the possibility to activate or deactivate the operation of the main convection turbine of
the stove. From the display you can deactivate the turbine operation. This way, the stove will perform the heating of the environment through
the radiation of the stove itself and by natural convection.
If it is chosen to activate the operation of the turbine, the heating of the environment is also produced by the radiation of the stove and, in this
case, by forced convection. To activate or deactivate turbine operation, refer to the section of this manual 10.4.1 User 2 Menu: "Air".

DUCTING SYSTEM
The operation of the air distribution system to other adjacent or higher rooms is
detailed below only available on Trebol and Mila models, Minerva Slim model does
not allow a channelling kit connection..
8.1.
OPERATION OF THE CHANNELING SYSTEM
If you purchase an optional channeling kit, the canalization diameter should be
80mm, and both the number of canalizations and the maximum canalization distance
must be respected per model specifications. The greater the distance and/or the
greater number of canalizations, the flow supplied will be less.
The regulation of the channelling system is done through the stove own electronics (User Menu 2 "CAN"), being able to select the operation
of the channelling fan (see drawing D8.1) depending on the selected working mode: Manual, Auto or Soft.
The ducted fan can be regulated both its activation/deactivation and its operating speed in Manual mode, in Automatic mode the speed
of the ducted fan will be in accordance with the working power of the stove, while in Soft mode the fan will turn off and/or you can select its
speed. See section 10.4.2 User Menu 2: "CAN" and 10.4.7 User Menu 2: "SOFT" in this manual.
