Note
In mixed operation of vector control and U/f control, the following drive constellations and
current controller cycle times are not possible:
• 1 drive (vector control, 250 μs) and 8 drives (U/f control, 500 μs)
• 2 drives (vector control, 250 μs) and 4 drives (U/f control, 500 μs)
Additional information
For more information on the control types and on the system rules and possible sampling
times, refer to the SINAMICS S120 Drive Functions function manual
(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109781535).

Changing the current controller cycle time for SINAMICS Integrated

Backlash on motion control functions
A change of the current controller cycle time p0115[0] ≠ 125 µs results in a re-initialization of
the clock system.
Afterwards, the execution of Motion Control instructions and access to Motion DBs can result
in programming errors that will put the CPU into the STOP operating state by default.
Solution:
You can prevent STOP of the CPU by configuring the programming error OB (OB 121).
You can then acknowledge any Motion Control alarms that occur with the Motion Control
instruction "MC_Reset" ("Restart" parameter = TRUE).
