Write and know-how protection for SINAMICS Startdrive

You can use the TIA Portal option package SINAMICS Startdrive to commission SINAMICS
drives.
You can use the write and know-how protection to protect the parameter assignment of your
drive.
Write protection
You can activate the write protection in offline or online mode. In online mode, the write
protection takes effect immediately after activation.
Recommendation: Activate the write protection in online mode.
When know-how protection is activated, it is possible to additionally activate write
protection.
Know-how protection
To activate or configure the know-how protection, you must deactivate the write protection.
You can only activate and configure the know-how protection in online mode. Ensure that an
online connection to SINAMICS Integrated exists before you call the configuration dialog for
know-how protection.

how in the DCC chart from being read, changed or manipulated by unauthorized persons.
