In addition, it must be kept in mind that SINAMICS Startdrive can only establish an online
connection to the SINAMICS Integrated or a SINAMICS S120 CU when the configured
firmware version matches the firmware version of the device.
Device replacement
Device swapping is not possible, either between different firmware versions or with other
SINAMICS S120 CUs.
Individual drive objects can only be copied and pasted:
• Between SINAMICS Integrated with the same firmware versions
• Between SINAMICS S120 CU320-2 with the same firmware versions
• Between SINAMICS S120 CU310-2 with the same firmware versions
SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC)
SINAMICS Drive Control Chart (DCC) extends the functionality of SINAMICS Integrated by
means of freely available control, calculation and logic blocks. SINAMICS DCC offers you the
possibility to configure your own technological functions in the drive system using graphic
configuration.
Requirements:
• SINAMICS DCC as of V17 (add-on package for Startdrive)
• CPU firmware version as of V2.9
• SINAMICS Integrated firmware version as of V5.2 SP3
To define the open-loop and closed-loop control functionality, you select multi-instance-
capable Drive Control Blocks (DCB) from a library (DCB library) and graphically link them using
drag-and-drop. The DCB libraries are divided into DCB Standard and DCB Extension.
The DCB standard library, which is included in the scope of delivery of SINAMICS DCC,
comprises approx. 140 block types for the configuration of logic and technology functions.
These can be calculated at different SINAMICS sampling times starting at 1 ms.
Additions to the DCB standard library can be made via DCB Extension libraries. A runtime
license is required to use the blocks from DCB Extension libraries. For more information about
the licenses, refer to the Runtime licensing (Page 278) section.
Note
Due to the system, the startup, download and RAM to ROM times are longer for the SINAMICS
Integrated than for a SINAMICS S120 CU320-2.
Recommendation to minimize these times:
• Reduce the number of DCC charts to a minimum (e.g. use only for different sampling
times).
• Use sub-charts.
