Multi-Gateways for SIP Trunks

Multiple-Gateways for SIP Trunks support multiple routers from different providers. It allows using a SIP
provider via a dedicated router.
Multiple gateways are possible by creating multiple subnets (logically separate networks). The additional
subnets uses the physical ethernet interfaces. Each SIP provider can be assigned to either the physical
ethernet interface or to one of the additional configured subnets. General IP traffic like NTP client, SWA
connection, FTP-download of localization files, etc is routed via the gateway of the default network using
the eth0 IP address as source address.
Contrarily, the traffic towards the SIP Provider (SIP signalling traffic and RTP traffic) is routed to another
gateway and the appropriate IP address of the subnet or the ethernet interface is used as a source
address. The packages that MiVoice Office 400 uses has a source address and an appropriate IP address
that is specified for the subnet. These are sent to the gateway of the subnet or the ethernet interface.
Note:
The multi-gateways for SIP Trunks feature runs only on MiVoice Office 400 on SMBC.
