Maintenance
Place a clean shop towel over the crankcase.
Remove the piston pin clips [1] with pliers.
• Prevent the piston pin clip from dropping into the
crankcase.
Press the piston pin [2] out of the piston [3] and remove
the piston.

Spread the piston rings and remove them by lifting up at
a point just opposite the gap.
• Be careful not to damage the piston rings by
spreading the ends too far.
