CYLINDER HEAD EXHAUST PIPE
STUD BOLT REPLACEMENT
Remove the exhaust pipe 1-17.
Thread two nuts onto the stud and tighten them together,
then use a wrench on them to turn the stud bolt out.
Install new stud bolts into the cylinder head as shown.
After installing the stud bolts, check that the length from
the bolt head to the cylinder head surface is within
specification.
Install the exhaust pipe 1-17.
22.0 ± 0.5 mm (0.87 ± 0.02 in)
SIDESTAND
REMOVAL
Remove the following:
– Left side cover 1-4
– Engine guard 1-7
Remove the bolts [1] and sidestand switch cover [2].

Remove the sidestand switch bolt [1] and sidestand
switch [2].
Raise the motorcycle off the ground by placing a
workstand or equivalent under the engine.
Remove the sidestand spring [1].
Remove the sidestand pivot nut [2], sidestand pivot bolt
[3], and sidestand [4].
