ifCmtsMacEntry
The following paragraphs include the SNMP Syntax (Set/Get Response
and/or Status) and a general description of the status entry for each MIB
variable in the docsIfCmtsMacEntry table.
This describes the attributes of each CMTS MAC interface, extending the
information available from ifEntry. It is mandatory for all CMTS devices.
An entry containing objects describing attributes of each MAC entry,
which extends the information in ifEntry. An entry in this table exists for
each ifEntry with an ifType of docsCableMaclayer(127).

Number
A unique value for each interface. Its value
ranges between 1 and the value of ifNumber.
The value of each interface must remain con-
stant at least from one reinitialization of the
emtity's network management system to the
next reinitialization.
docsIfCmtsCapabilities
Bits (Hex): atmCells(0), concatenation(1)
Identifies the capabilities of the CMTS MAC
implementation at this interface. Note that
packet transmission is always supported.
Therefore, there is no specific bit required to
explicitly indicate this capability.
