Number
The number of upstream mini-slots that have
been used to transmit data PDUs in immedi-
ate (contention) mode. This includes only
those PDUs that are presumed to have arrived
at the headend (i.e., those that were explicitly
acknowledged). It does not include retrans-
mission attempts or mini-slots used by
Requests.

The number of upstream mini-slots that have
been used to transmit data PDUs in dedicated
mode (i.e., as a result of a unicast Data
Grant).
