An MBG customer is a telephone company customer who uses public facilities
to carry customer-specific information. A Business Group uniquely identifies an
MBG customer across a number of switches in a network, not only within a
CS 2x00/DMS switch. As a result, when a host application establishes
application-level sessions with multiple switches, you must datafill the host
application with one BGID for each network only rather than for each CS 2x00/
DMS switch.
Switch Password
The CS 2x00/DMS switch password
is a security feature that, along with a valid user ID, a user can use to log on
to the CS 2x00/DMS switch. The customer assigns passwords.

Service ID
The service ID
uniquely identifies a service profile for a session. An operating company
can define functions and parameters in service profiles on the CS 2x00/
DMS switch. The operating company can assign a customer up to eight
service IDs.
