Configuration tasks

To configure the CS 2x00/DMS switch to communicate with the Contact Center
Manager Server, you must perform the following tasks:
Install and configure the Ethernet Interface Unit.
Install and configure Intelligent Call Manager.
Configure the CS 2x00/DMS switch.
Configure Contact Center Manager Server.
The rules for the Ethernet Interface Unit (EIU) also apply to the 3PC card.
Before you begin
Before you install and configure either the EIU or the Intelligent Call Manager
(ICM) link, you must perform all tasks and record all required information
described in the following list:
Obtain an EIU Media Access Control (MAC) address from Nortel. You can
request a MAC address by sending a request to Nortel at the following
e-mail address:
macadd@nortelnetworks.com
Ensure that you enable the CS 2x00/DMS features for ACD routing and the
ICM link (Software Option Control [SOC]).
Configure ACD groups and the included agents on the CS 2x00/DMS
switch.
Install the three required CS 2x00/DMS EIU circuit packs.
Datafill the CS 2x00/DMS IP interface tables.
Install the necessary client drivers (for example, Interactive Voice Response
and Communication Control Toolkit).
Test the TCP/IP link between the client application and the CS 2x00/DMS
EIU interface.
Install all required applications (for example, IVR system and Contact
Center Manager Server).
