Cannot run the conversion program, not enough memory
Appears if there is not enough memory to run the conversion program.
Action
• Restart Windows, which automatically restarts MMR Communications.
Cannot update download schedule for x. Database error
The download schedule for site x cannot be updated since the MMR system
database cannot be accessed.
Action
1. Click OK to terminate MMR Setup.
2. Verify that the following system database file exists in the
\REPORTER\DATABASE directory: MMR_SYS.MDB and that the following
database file exists in all the \SITEx directories of \REPORTER\DATABASE:
MMR_OM.MDB.
3. If all files exist, double-click the MMR Reports icon to test only the system
database and respond to any error messages. If either file is missing, restore
BOTH files from a backup; then, restart MMR. If no backup is available, go to Step
6.
4. If an error message displays, go to Step 6. If no error messages display, the
problem is in MMR_OM.MDB; therefore, go to Step 5.
5. In MMR Reports, on the Maintenance menu, click Repair Database. If that does
not work, restore the database from a backup. If you do not have a backup, on the
Maintenance menu, click Clear Database. If even that does not work, go to Step 6.
6. Reinstall MMR and make sure the Data files & password option button is selected
in the Overwrite screen. This procedure creates a new, empty database.
Cannot write to conversion output file x
File x cannot be updated and the corresponding download failed.
The following causes explain why the error possibly occurred:
• There is not enough free space on your hard drive.
• The hard drive contains bad sectors, or the file system needs to be repaired, or
both. If this is the case, refer to the appropriate documentation about running a
