Cannot open conversion template file: x
File x cannot be opened and the corresponding download failed.
The following causes explain why the error possibly occurred:
• Another application is locking the file.
• The file has been inadvertently deleted
• The hard drive contains bad sectors, or the file system needs to be repaired, or
both. If this is the case, refer to the appropriate documentation about running a
file/disk repair utility.
Action
1. Make sure no other application is accessing the file.
2. Use File Manager or Explorer and search if the specified file exists. If it does, go to
Step 5. Otherwise, go to Step 3.
3. Terminate MMR Communications and MMR Reports.
4. Reinstall MMR and make sure the Program files & password option button is
selected in the Overwrite screen.
5. Use File Manager or Explorer to delete all files in the directory specified by the
error message: \REPORTER\MMSITE\SITE nn .
6. Perform an Immediate Download to get current data from Meridian Mail.

• The hard drive contains bad sectors, or the file system needs to be repaired, or
both. If this is the case, refer to the appropriate documentation about running a
file/disk repair utility.
Action
1. Use File Manager or Explorer to delete several files which are no longer needed
to free up space on the hard drive.
2. Use File Manager or Explorer to delete all files in the directory specified by the
error message: \REPORTER\MMSITE\SITE nn .
