- Page 12 10 Norstar Voice Mail Voice Channel Upgrade Rebooting the NAM After you have completed the upgrade and backed up the capabilities file, you must reboot the Norstar Voice Mail system. When you reboot the system, the new Voice Channels are automatically allocated to Norstar Voice Mail. The reboot option offers four choices: Graceful, Quick, Immediate and Scheduled.
