The ISDN loopback test

You must reset the system whenever you reconfigure the Netopia
ISDN Router and want the new parameter values to take effect.
Under certain circumstances, resetting the system may also clear
up system or network malfunctions.
The ISDN loopback test is designed to confirm the existence of a
working ISDN line and the proper configuration of certain Netopia
ISDN Router parameters.
Using the first B-channel, the test calls the Netopia ISDN Router on
the second B-channel, creating a call loop back to the unit.
To run the ISDN loopback test, select ISDN Switch Loopback Test
in the Statistics, Utilities, Tests screen and press Return to the
ISDN Switch Loopback Test screen.
Select Run Test Now and press Return. The loopback test is
executed immediately.
Note: Make sure neither B-channel is in use before you execute the
loopback test.
The Status item reports one of three results:
Untested: The loopback test has not yet been run.
Loopback Test FAILED: The loopback test has failed. See
