CAUTION!
Belt and spring are under tension. Spring is pre-tensioned to
hold the belt in place during shipment.
3. Hold the belt tail to prevent sudden release of spring tension,
clip the belt tail zip tie.
4. Making certain there are no twists in the belt, grasp it with
needle nosed pliers and slowly release tension while
maintaining enough pressure to keep the belt tight on the
pulleys. Belt teeth should face up.
5. Pre-tension the spring by pulling the belt approximately 6" in
the opening direction and inserting it into the belt clamp.
6. Secure the belt by installing the belt retainer screw removed
in Step 2.
7. Trim off excess belt leaving a 6"-8" tail beyond the clamp
block for final adjustments.

Wedge Damper Adjustment

1. Open the door to full open position. The wedge damper
should hold the door firmly in the open position.
2. To adjust, loosen the three 10mm screws and slide the
damper to increase or decrease the friction as needed then
re-tighten the screws.
Operational Check & Adjustments
1. Open the door to various positions ranging from a few inches
to fully open and check the travel speed and latching force.
The door should close and latch from any position.
NOTE: Adjustments to spring tension, damper torque and rack
position are dynamic. Adjustment of one component may affect
the performance of others. Make adjustments in small
increments and evaluate the results to achieve optimum
performance.
