2. Check the spacing between the pinion gear and gear rack. A
gap of between 2" and 4" is recommended. (Ref. Fig A)
NOTE!
Increasing the horizontal gap between the rack and pinion gears
increases the latching force at low door speed.
3. To adjust, use a 3mm Allen key to loosen the gear rack set
screws; two screws are located at each end just behind and
above the rack. Loosen the screws just enough to allow the
rack(s) to slide, do not remove.
4. Slide the rack(s) to the desired position and re-tighten the
screws. Tandem racks must butt together.

Pinion Gear Height Adjustment

1. Slide the active door open until the pinion gear is over the
gear rack. (Ref. Fig. B)
2. Adjust the damper body's position so that there is a 1/16"
gap between the pinion gear and gear rack.
3. Tighten the adjustment screws to lock the damper body in
place.

Spring Unit Set-up

Belt Attachment
1. Open the header cover, the spring unit is located above the
active leaf #1 and towards the back. Note the position of the
zip tie holding the tail end of the belt in place.
2. Locate the belt clamp attached to the wheel bracket of active
leaf #2 and remove the belt retaining screw from the clamp.
