In versions prior to E3R0, the demodulation scheme should be the same on both channels.
Since version E3R0, a set of combination with different demodulation schemes on each channel is
allowed:

PCM-FM on one channel, FM on the other channel

PCM-PM or PM on one channel, BPSK or OQPSK or OOQPSK on the other channel
