Character Deactivation

If you have sent a character from the host to trigger the scanner to begin scanning, you can
also send a deactivation character to stop scanning. Scan the following On barcode to use
character deactivation, then use Deactivation Character (following) to select the character
you will send from the host to terminate scanning. Default = Off.

Deactivation Character

This sets the character used to terminate scanning when using Character Deactivation Mode.

Illumination Lights

If you want the illumination lights on while reading a barcode, scan the Lights On barcode,
below. However, if you want to turn just the lights off, scan the Lights Off barcode. Default =
Lights On.
Note: This setting does not affect the aimer light. The aiming light can be set using
(page 47).

Aimer Delay

The aimer delay allows a delay time for the operator to aim the scanner before the picture is
