CHAPTER 8 -

Add a Test Code I.D. Prefix to All Symbologies

This selection allows you to turn on transmission of a Code I.D. before the decoded
symbology. (See the
that identifies each symbology.) This action first clears all current prefixes, then programs a
Code I.D. prefix for all symbologies. This is a temporary setting that will be removed when the
unit is power cycled.

Show Software Revision

Scan the barcode below to output the current software revision, unit serial number, and other
product information for both the scanner.
Show Boot Software Revision

Test Menu

When you scan the Test Menu On code, then scan a programming code in this manual, the
scanner displays the content of a programming code. The programming function will still
occur, but in addition, the content of that programming code is output to the terminal.
Note: This feature should not be used during normal scanner operation.
