Procedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. If installed, remove the front bezel.
3. Power down the server.
4. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
5. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.

Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack.
Remove the server from the rack.
•
7. Remove the access panel.
8.
If necessary, disconnect any internal cables connected to the system board.
9. Remove the primary PCI riser cage.
10. Remove the blank from the FlexibleLOM adapter slot of the FlexibleLOM riser cage.
Retain the blank for future use.
11. Install the FlexibleLOM adapter into the FlexibleLOM adapter slot, and then install the screw.
