6.5 Connecting to the AS-i master via AS-Interface
Example 1
The MSS 3RK3 Advanced monitors the AS-i EMERGENCY STOP, a safety-related AS-i input slave.
The safe data traffic can be fed into the logic of the MSS 3RK3 Advanced through input cells and
processed. A motor is shut down safely through a safety-related output of an expansion module.
