Emptying the coin hoppers
In order that the coin hoppers can be emptied you need the product-dependent
software installed on the control unit computer connected, in order that all coin
counters will be decreased.
We recommend that you empty the hoppers via the coin return conveyor. Emptying
the hoppers directly may result in incorrect coin counters and audits.
8.2.1
Emptying the hoppers via coin return tray
The easiest way to empty the coin hoppers is to raise the coin return tray allowing a larger box/
bag to be positioned under the return belt able to collect more coins.
1
Raise coin return tray:
• Press both sides of the coin return tray's bottom together [Fig. 40/1] and
• at the same time lift the return tray [Fig. 40/2] as far as it will go and till it locks in posi-
tion when letting go of the return tray.
2
Position a box or bag in front of the coin return conveyor large enough to collect all coins
to be emptied.
3
Start emptying mode and emptying cycle in the product-dependent software on the
control unit computer.
The status illumination [Fig. 41/3] is green and all coins are dispensed from the hopper(s).
4
Remove the box/bag and bring return tray back down to its normal position, so that it locks
in lowest position.
5
Return CLS to normal operating mode.
In case you use the coin return tray to collect the coins, coin processing pauses
if the return tray is full of coins, and automatically continues as soon as the tray
has been emptied.
