Opening and closing the CLS lid
Though the CLS stops running when the lid is opened, you should always wait
until a transaction has been finished before you open the lid to not affect the coin
counters.
The lid covers the coin acceptance unit and can be opened and closed using the key for the upper
lock [Fig. 26/1]:
To open the lid:

If necessary, wait until a transaction has been finished and switch the CLS off

Insert the key in the lock [Fig. 26/1] and turn it counter-clockwise as far as it will go and hold it.

Simultaneously hold down the push-button [Fig. 26/2] and open the lid by its handle [Fig. 26/3]
as far as it will go.
To close the lid again:

Close the lid so that it locks properly into place.

Pull the key out of the lock.

Switch the CLS on again
