Filling the coo-

Venting the
The cooling unit should be vented:

Repeat this venting procedure as often as necessary until you can see (in the filler
neck) that coolant is flowing back properly.
Putting the
cooling unit into
service

Note! After filling the reservoir of the cooling unit with coolant for the first time,
you must vent the cooling unit before starting to use it.
after being filled for the first time
if the coolant pump is running but is not making the coolant circulate
To vent the cooling unit:
-
Plug the unit into the mains or otherwise restore mains power supply
-
Shift the mains switch into the "I" position - the cooling unit is now ready for
operation
-
Pull back the snap ring on the (black) plug-type connection for water forward
flow (27)
-
Unplug the water forward-flow hose
-
Using a wooden or plastic pin, carefully push in and hold down the conical nipple
in the middle of the plug-type connection for water forward flow
-
Release the conical nipple again when coolant starts to seep out
-
Plug the water forward-flow hose back on
-
Check the water connections on the outside to ensure that they are watertight
Note! Before starting to use the cooling unit, always check the level and the
cleanliness of the coolant.
Plug the unit into the mains or otherwise restore mains power supply
Shift the mains switch into the "I" position - the coolant pump starts running
Check the coolant circulation until you can see that coolant is circulating properly. If
necessary, vent the cooling unit.
Note! During welding, check the coolant circulation at regular intervals - it
must be possible to see (in the filler neck) that coolant is flowing back properly.
