Tacking function

Depending on what tAC time has been set, the pulsed welding current may continue up
(continued)
to, and including, the final current phase I
After the tAC time has elapsed, welding continues at constant welding amperage, and
any pulsing parameters that may have been set continue to be available.
Important! In order to set a defined tacking time, the parameter tAC can be combined
with the parameter SPt (spot-welding time, Set-up menu: Level 1).
TIG cold-wire
Important! TIG cold-wire welding is only possible in conjunction with a cold-wire feeder.

The diagram below illustrates TIG cold-wire welding in cases where a pulsing frequency
has been set and the DC welding process has been selected.
For details of how to adjust the parameters referred to here, see: "The set-up menu:
Level 1" - sub-section "TIG set-up parameters".
