Important! The TransTig 2200 power source has no switchover facility between the rod
electrode DC- and rod electrode DC+ welding processes.
To change over from the rod electrode DC- welding process to the rod electrode DC+
welding process on the TransTig 2200 power source, reconnect the electrode holder
and the earthing (grounding) cable to the opposite welding sockets (i.e. swap them
over).

Warning! Operating the machine incorrectly can cause serious injury and
damage. Before starting to use the power source for the first time, read the
sections:
-
"Safety rules"
-
"Before putting the power source into service"
-
"Putting the power source into service"
Warning! Preparing the machine for welding when the mains switch is in the "I"
position and the power source is plugged in can be fatally dangerous. Only make
these preparations when the mains switch is in the "0" position and the machine
has been unplugged from the mains.
Unplug the machine from the mains
Shift the mains switch (20) into the "0" position
Dismount the TIG welding torch
Plug the grounding (earthing) cable into the "plus" current socket (17), and latch it
in firmly
With the other end of the grounding (earthing) cable, establish a connection to the
workpiece
Plug the welding cable into the "minus" current socket (16) and twist it clockwise to
latch it into place
Plug the machine back into the mains
Warning! An electric shock can be fatal. As soon as the mains switch is in the "I"
position, the rod electrode is LIVE. Make sure that from this moment on, the rod
electrode does not touch any persons or electrically conducting or grounded
(earthed) parts such as the housing, etc.
Shift the mains switch (20) into the "I" position - all the indicators on the control
panel will now briefly light up
