5 . 1 2 Measuring time
The measuring time may be between 1 and 30 seconds, referring both to flow rate and medium
temperature.
The effect of the measuring time may be compared to that of a low pass filter. It is used to deter-
mine the average of the last measured values after each measurement.
The set measuring time does not influence the measuring rate and display update.
5 . 1 3 Scaling factor (flowscale)
The scaling factor influences flow rate indication.
The factor, which may be set between 0.01 and 9.99, allows flow rate indication changes (increas-
ing or reducing the measured value in the display).
For example, the scaling factor may be used to indicate the average flow rate in the pipeline rather
than that available at the sensor.
