Backup Battery

When the backup battery no longer accepts a charge, the battery must be
replaced. This replacement should only be performed by a factory-ap-
proved service center or a certified service provider.

Pen Tip Replacement

The pen tip will wear down over time and require replacement. Use a tool
such as the one shown below to grip the worn-out pen tip. Pull firmly on
the old tip to remove it from the pen barrel. You can insert a new pen tip
with your fingers, making sure that the tip is fully seated against the stop
inside the pen.
