Open the battery compartment door by turning the latch knob 1/4-turn coun-

terclockwise. Use a coin or flatblade screwdriver to open and remove the

door. Face the battery pack contacts into the computer, with the flat and

curved portions aligned with the battery compartment opening, slide the

battery pack into the compartment. Reinstall the door and turn the latch

knob 1/4-turn clockwise to secure it.
