BRAKE SYSTEM
Move the brake fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

Remove screws

with membrane
Press the brake piston back into the basic position and ensure that brake fluid
does not flow out of the brake fluid reservoir, sucking it away if necessary.
Press together brake linings (D and remove them from the brake caliper.
Clean the brake caliper and leaf spring.
Ensure that the leaf spring is correctly positioned.

The arrow on the leaf spring points in the rotation direction of the brake
disc.
Position the new brake linings (D in the guides and press toward the pistons.
✓ The leaf spring is correctly seated in the brake caliper.
Fill brake fluid up to the MAX marking.

Clean up overflowed or spilled brake fluid immediately with water.
Position the brake caliper. Mount screws
yet.
✓ The brake linings are correctly positioned.
Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with
the brake disc and there is a pressure point. Fix the hand brake lever in the acti
vated position.
✓ The brake caliper straightens.
