8/ Warranty

Kontron defines product warranty in accordance with regional warranty definitions. Claims are at Kontron's discretion
and limited to the defect being of a material nature. To find out more about the warranty conditions and the defined
warranty period for your region, follow the steps below:

8.1. Limitation/Exemption from Warranty Obligation

In general, Kontron shall not be required to honor the warranty, even during the warranty period, and shall be
exempted from the statutory accident liability obligations in the event of damage caused to the product due to failure
to observe the following:
Safety instructions within this user guide
Warning Instructions within this user guide
Information and hints within this user guide
Due to their limited service life, parts that by their nature are subject to a particularly high degree of wear (wearing
parts) are excluded from the warranty beyond that provided by law.
