AQUATRAN Model 3/40 Operator's Manual
1.
Remove the cover from the reservoir.
2.
If necessary, remove the supply line and filter from the inside the reservoir.
3.
Insert the end of the supply line (without the filter) through the opening in the cover with the
filter on the inside surface of the cover.
4.
Connect the end of the supply line to the Water Supply Inlet on the instrument back panel.
For the location of the Water Supply Inlet refer to Figure 2-2 located in this chapter.
5.
After filling the reservoir with distilled water place it below the instrument.
6.
Place the filter inside the reservoir and securely tighten the cover.
7.
Adjust the tubing as required to ensure the filter is resting on the bottom of the reservoir.
8.
Connect the reclaiming tube to the reclaiming port. For the location of the reclaiming port,
refer to Figure 2-2 located in this chapter.
9.
This tube should go continuously down hill to the water supply tank inlet at the top of the
tank.
10.
This reclaiming tube should be in the air head space of the tank (Not in the water).
Warning! If reclaiming hose and tank are not setup properly, water could accumulate in the
reclaiming reservoir to the point they overfill and then spill back inside of the chamber.

Setting the Gas Supply Pressures

Set the Gas Supply Pressures as follows:
Verify dust caps installed on the "System Vents" have been removed.
Set the Compressed Air supply regulator pressure to 80-90 psi.
Set the Carrier Gas cylinder or main line regulator pressure to 35 psi.
