Configuring the Option Board
All Option Board parameters are stored in the MX2 Inverter. This allows
for easy replacement of the Option Board without the need to re-configure.
After connecting the Option Board to an MX2 Inverter for the first time
however, proceed with the following steps:
Step 1
It is recommended to set C102 = 3 to prevent the Inverter reset input and
Stop/reset button from interfering with Option Board during operation
(Setting C102 to another value causes the Option Board to reset when a trip
condition is cleared). Use the Inverter keypad to set C102 to 3.

Step 2
Inverter registers P195 and P196 configure the MECHATROLINK network-
related parameters. Adjust these to configure the frame length and node
address.
