Introduction

This chapter contains information about maintaining your Printer,
troubleshooting tips, solutions, and Printer adjustment information.
5.1

Printer Maintenance schedules

If your Printer is equipped with an optional Rotary Cutter, it is
recommended that the cutter's blades are cleaned every 25,000 cuts. The
blades in the Rotary Cutter, although reversible, can not be sharpened
and must be replaced if they become dull.
The Media Path and Printhead should be cleaned each time a new roll of
media is installed in the Printer.
The Tear Bar can become gummed up from the media backing. The Tear
Bar should be cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol when build-up is
noticeable.
