Possible Cause

Remedy

Check connections.

Switch off PrintMate, wait 5
seconds then switch back
on.

Wait until the Touch Panel
Display says PrintMate
Ready before resuming
operation.

Close down the LabWriter
Application and restart it.

Switch off PrintMate.

Close down the LabWriter
Application.

Reboot the PC.

Restart the LabWriter
Application and PrintMate.

Check that the COM Port
Settings for LabWriter are
correct.
