Loud Knocking Noise On Power-Up

Error Message / Symptom
Loud knocking noise on power-up

Possible Cause
Transit Fixing has not been
removed.
Cassette trapped in unit.
Hopper preventing Carousel
rotation.
Remedy

Ensure instrument is
switched off.

Open the Print Door and
remove the Transit Fixing
(see Chapter 3 -
Unpacking).

Open Print Door and
remove any visible Cassettes.

Rotate the Output Drum to
ensure it is not being
obstructed by Cassettes.

Restart the instrument.

Remove all Hoppers.

Restart the instrument.
