Setting up the projector head

1. Position the projector as perpendicular to the screen as possible, even if significantly above the
screen center.
When a particularly short throw distance combines with a wide screen, you may have to forfeit
some aim and stay more perpendicular to the screen. In such cases, some lens offset can
reduce the keystone distortion.
2. Position the projector.
3. Install the projection lens (on page 30).
4. Connect the projector head to AC power (on page 34).

Lifting and positioning the projector

Safely lift and position the projector in the location where it will be used.
To tilt the projector more than 15° up or down, remove the feet and mount the projector to a custom
engineered mounting system designed specifically for this projector and installation. If the projector is
to be installed beyond 15° of tilt, contact the Christie Custom Fulfillment team for additional
consultation.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
Do not install or operate the projector in any position that does not meet the stated product
specifications for alignment and orientation.
1. Position the projector so it is centered and parallel with the screen. If space is limited, aim the
projector slightly off-center and use lens offset to center the image on the screen.
2. To adjust the vertical position of the projector, extend or retract the adjustable feet on the
bottom of the projector using the adjustable knobs on the feet.
only applies to a projector being installed on a flat pedestal?
