a) Load the Convergence pattern in the Hawkeye software.
b) Adjust horizontal (on page 53) and vertical (on page 54) boresight.
c) Adjust the convergence (on page 55) of the 4K engine light engine.
7. On the PSF, complete the following:
a) Load the PSF alignment pattern in Hawkeye.
b) Loosen the compensator plate adjustment screw and move the compensator plate all the
way to the left.
c) Adjust the two uppermost set screws on the PSF fold mirror until the green crosshairs of
the premod engine overlap the red crosshairs of the prime engine.
Do not adjust the third set screw.
d) Loosen the PSF focus ring set screw and adjust the focus until the green dots are sharp.
e) Adjust the condenser ring and focus to achieve the clearest pixels.
f) Repeat steps c to e until the crosshairs are aligned and the green dots look sharp with low
flair across the image.
g) Observe the White test pattern for presence of the crosshatch artifact on screen.
h) If visible, slightly defocus the PSF and recheck.
8. In the Hawkeye software, complete the following:
a) Connect the designated Hawkeye calibration camera with the Hawkeye software.
b) Place the camera as centered and close to the image as possible while having full screen
visible and not obstructing light path.
