To Remove the LTM Module Assembly from the Instrument
This procedure is used to remove an LTM column module for replacement or
for instrument storage.
Materials needed
• Gloves, clean
• Internal column nut (G2855-20530)
• Ferrules (SilTite)
• Wire for plug (G2855-60593)
• Union (G3182-60580)
• Safety glasses
• Wrench, open-end, 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch (8710-0510)
Procedure
1 Load your maintenance method for cooling down the column enclosure. See

enough to cause burns. If either is hot, wear heat-resistant gloves to protect your
hands or allow the parts to cool before beginning the work.
3 Open the LTM door on the right side of the GC/MSD.
