Firmware/Software Updates; Updating Net Series Controller And/Or Dvply Firmware; Updating Winnet Software - Leightronix NET Series Manual

FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE UPDATES

 All updates provided by LEIGHTRONIX through email or CD-ROM.
NOTES:
 WinNET version 1.0.2.01 or newer must be used with NET Series
firmware version 1.00.38 or newer, as both of the newer firmware and
software versions utilize an upgraded Controller image format. New
Controller images will not be accepted by older firmware or correctly
received by older WinNET versions, so be sure to update all PCs running
WinNET and the firmware of the corresponding Controller at the same
time.

UPDATING NET SERIES CONTROLLER AND/OR DVPLY FIRMWARE

Use the following steps to update both the Controller and DVply firmware.
1. Open the WinNET client software.
2. Log into the NET Series Controller and choose "Controller" under the "Tools" menu.
3. Under "Firmware Update," check the "Reboot" box and click "Browse."
4. Browse to the Controller's firmware directory on your LEIGHTRONIX "PRODUCT
RESOURCE DISC." Select one of the following links and run the corresponding
file:
 "NET Series Firmware": updates your NET Series Controller's firmware
 "NET Series DVply Firmware": updates your DVply firmware for NET-164 and
NET-EC
5. After about 2 minutes, the NET Series Controller should reboot and drop its
connection.
6. Reconnect and confirm the firmware has been upgraded under "Controller Status"
in the "Control Panel" window.

UPDATING WINNET SOFTWARE

1. If open, close WinNET.
2. Navigate to and open the WinNET v* Installer.exe. Follow the prompts to install the
latest version of the client software.
3. Click "OK" to continue WinNET update.
4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
