Option Compatibility

You can connect a maximum of 3 options at the same time depending on the type of
option.
Note:
• You can only connect one option to Z1000 and HV600 drives. Connect the option to the CN5 connector.
• You can connect two options to an FP605 drive. Connect the communication option to the CN5-A connector.
• Compatible communication options are different for different models. Refer to the drive manuals for more
information.

• Examine for wiring errors.
• Correct the wiring.
Examine for disconnected cables and
short circuits and repair as necessary.
Check communications at start-up and
correct programming errors.
• Do a self-diagnostics check.
• If the problem continues, replace
either the control board or the entire
drive. For instructions on how to
replace the control board, contact
Yaskawa or a Yaskawa representative.
Re-energize the drive to update the
communication option parameters.
