5.1 Troubles, causes, remedies

WARNING!
All the maintenance operations have to be performed by a Mechanic.
TROUBLE
Oil does not come out 10/15 minutes af-
ter extraction process started.
Red light in a switch illuminated.
SANSA does not come out.
DECANTER (14) failure.
CRUSHER failure.

- MAINTENANCE

6.1 Ordinary maintenance

WARNING!
Before attempting to perform any maintenance jobs unplug the power cord from the electrical control cabinet.
Maintenance can be carried out only by operators.
At the end of each work cycle, shut off the plant and unplug the power cord.

6.1.1 How to clean the machine at the end of work and each day

WARNING!
Do not use thinners, detergents or soaps to clean the machine. use only water or odorless neutral products specially
formulated for food products.
Perform the operations in the order given below:
The plant should be cleaned within twenty four hours of use.
Loosen the four screws and remove the hopper.
Take the left guard crusher side) off the machine.
To clean the CRUSHER, remove the olive paste hopper (20). To do this, disconnect the connector on the motor cable,
release the locks on the plate and unscrew the knobs. As a result, the olive paste hopper can be removed providing access
to the CRUSHER (4). Remove any leaves present and wash with water.
To clean the OIL MILL (5), loosen the four knobs that hold the cover in place. The blade (22) can now be removed by simply
lifting it up. Clean and wash with water.

CAUSE
1) Oil discharge tube (15) may be
clogged.
2) Motor running in reverse direction.
3) No holes opened (level).
Overload cut-out for motor tripped.
Switch SANSA DISCHARGE (33) and/or
OIL (34) faulty (red light on).
1) A metal part entered decanter along
with olives.
2) Too much water let in very quickly dur-
ing cleaning process.
1) Olives have too many leaves that block
the grid.
2) Knives ruined.
REMEDY
1) Use a probe to verify no residues left
over from cleaning are in the tube (15).
2) Exchange the motor supply wires.
3) Open the two oil discharge holes in the
DECANTER (14).
Open electrical control cabinet and re–
arm relative cut-out.
Open electrical control cabinet and rearm
cut-out.
1) Contact customer service.
2) Make sure the DECANTER (14) is
empty before attempting to wash the
OIL MILL (5) with a lot of water.
1) Remove the leaves before putting in
the olives.
2) Turn the knives 180° or replace them.
