WARNING!
Use an appropriate personal protective equipment for your specific task. Close-fitting work clothes should be worn.
Neckties, rings, watches, necklaces, belts and loose or ragged clothing create a hazard when operating machines.
Employees with long hair must tie their hair so it will not be caught in any rotating parts.
Wear slip-resistant shoes and heavy- duty gloves appropriate for your job.
Never allow anyone to operate, perform maintenance or repair the tool while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics
or certain prescription drugs that make you drowsy or when excessively tired or under stress. Focus is very impor-
tant.
Give or lend the machine only to personnel specially trained by authorized people.
Keep children and animals away from the machine.
Never tie down, block out, take off or otherwise make inoperative the door interlock and/or limit switch.
As the machine operator you are responsible for any hazardous situations created and the safety of the people or
their property in your area.
Use the machine only for its intended purpose given in paragraph "Description of the product". Any other use is to be
considered erroneous and inappropriate any may result in personal injury.
Wear slip-resistant gloves when performing maintenance jobs on the oil mill and/or its accessories.
NOTE
Shut off the machine and unplug the power cord at the end of each work-cycle.

2.2 Machine packaging and shipment

The machine is placed on a wooden pallet complete with blocks for shipment. The machine is covered in nylon and tied to protect it.
In specific cases, it can be packed in sturdy cardboard stamped with symbols indicating its weight and center of gravity.
In addition, the packing contains the accessories and technical documentation. A transpallet or fork lift truck can be used to transport the
packed machine. If a crane needs to be used, attachments can be mounted on the top of the machine in order to sling it with belts.

2.3 Lifting the machine

Make certain the lift equipment is in good condition and has a lift capacity 20% greater than the weight of the load to be hoisted (the
weight is given in paragraph "Specifications").
Never stand near or pass under the machine while it is being lifted and transported.
The length and interaxis of the forks should assure the load remains perfectly balanced.

2.4 Installation

Unpack the machine being extremely careful not to damage the electrical control cabinet or other protruding parts that may
compromise safe and secure machine operation.
Do not use cutters to unpack the machine as it also contains electric cables and instruments that may be damaged.
Place the machine in the designated area complete with water system and electrical cabinet that complies to all safety standards.
The room temperature should not be below 15 °C.
Never activate or alter the control devices or instruments provided on the machine without being duly authorized or fully under-
standing the operating principle.
Make certain the machine is placed on a sturdy level floor. In addition make sure that all the casters roll on the floor and are braked
before starting work (see paragraph "Positioning the plant").
Carefully follow the instructions outlined in this manual (see paragraph "Positioning the plant").
Never leave the power cable in places where it may be damaged by machines (e.g. fork lift trucks, etc...) and/or liquids (e.g. acids).
Inflammable objects, made of fabric or nylon, must never be left on or near the machine.
Lock the caster wheels as illustrated in the picture (E).
IMPORTANT!
When throwing away the packaging materials, always observe all relevant environmental protection laws.
