6 - MAINTENANCE
• To wash the DECANTER (14) first of all plug the two holes (levels) (13) previously opened. Put the parts already washed
and guard (6) back in place. Put the hopper back in and secure with the screws.
• At this point, plug power cord in the electrical cabinet and restart the machine with switches CRUSHER (31) – SANSA
DISCHARGE (33) – OIL (34). Open the water cock (10) and set the flow meter (24) to maximum. The washing process has
been completed when clean water comes out of the pomace outlet (8).
WARNING!
Before restarting work, remember to remove the two plugs of the holes (13) the oil comes out of.
6.1.2 Checking the CRUSHER (4) grid and knives
If the cutting edge of the knives is ruined, turn 180° or replace them, loosen the locking screw provided. This job can be done
only by an authorized maintenance mechanic.
WARNING!
Using ruined knives may compromise the quality of the product.
Check the condition of the CRUSHER (4) knives (3) and grid every 100 hours of operation.

6.1.3 Checking the drive belts

• Take off the safety guard on the belt side.
• Visually check that the toothed drive belts are not ruined and are tight.
• This check done yearly at the end of work prevents breakage from happening during the crushing period. This job can be
done only by an authorized maintenance mechanic.

6.1.4 Lubrication

WARNING!
Failure to use the specified oil or grease may cause serious damage to the machine.
• Every 500 hours: add AGIP BLASIA 220 or equivalent oil to the epicyclic reduction gear used to regulate the paste.
• Every 1000 hours: change the oil in the transfluid hydraulic coupling with AGIP OSO 32 700 gr or equivalent oil.
• Every 500 hours: check oil level in OIL MILL gearbox and top up with AGIP ROTRA MP 80w90.

6.2 Extraordinary maintenance

WARNING!
Any extraordinary maintenance operation shall be performed in a CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorised Service Point.

- DISMANTLING THE MACHINE WHEN NO LONGER USED

7.1 General

• The machine is to be scrapped at the end of its service life.
• Its parts are to be separated so that they can be disposed of according to type of waste.
- Drain oil from gearboxes.
- Drain oil from hydraulic coupling.
- Separate the parts according to type of material (metal, plastic, oil, etc...) and dispose according to local environmental
protection laws.
IMPORTANT!
It is severely forbidden to dump oils and solvents in the sewer lines or outdoor grounds.
