To delete any desired section of a file, use the following procedure.

Select EXTRACT mode or LIFT mode.
• Press the [ ] key (EXTRACT) or [

Select the recorder port.

Select the file including the section you want to delete.
• For details of the file selection operation, see the section "Selecting a file"
(page 3-1).

Using the jog dial of the BVE-series editor, for example, search for the IN
point of the section to be deleted.

Press the MARK IN key on the MAVE-F555.
• The time data of the IN point appears on the monitor screen connected to
the MONITOR OUT connector of the MAV-555.
