This section describes how to use this Operation Manual, which serves as a
guide to using the MAVE-F555 Editing.
This Operation Manual describes the parts of the MAVE-F555 and their
functions, preparations, and general operations which you will need to
understand in order to use the MAVE-F555.
Using the MAVE-F555 together with the MAV-555 Multi Access Video Disk
Recorder and BVE-series editor, you can easily create a linear-like nonlinear
editing system, or an editing/broadcasting system using the MAV-555 as a line
acceptor in combination with a player. Thus, the MAVE-F555 acts as a
controller for the MAV-555 and BVE-series editor as external devices, and in
reading this manual you will be assumed to have a basic understanding of the
operation of these external devices.
When using the MAVE-F555, read this manual in conjunction with the
manuals supplied with the external devices connected to the MAVE-F555.
